Quite often, a rainbow appears in the sky, and fades away, while we run across a busy road. When the air-condition of the car was not working, a gentle breeze caressed the leaves of that old tree, where we hung our swing once.
What you are about to see, is a Lithuanian village, (big or small, depends on your perception) close to the border of Latvia. Not very different from other villages. In fact not at all different or unique. It is ordinary, so ordinary that its purity couldn’t be questioned through a camera. And, a not questioning, investigating, or observing camera, is a wonderful tool for an engaging, open hearted, and transparent interaction. These are some excerpts from that conversation.
This is not a photography project about a social cause, or an existential investigation. This definitely is not a goal oriented body of work. This is the story of a drop in the vast ocean of time.
